Snapchat for PC, Windows 7, 8, 10, XP, Vista
Snapchat For PC: You cannot deny the fact that Snapchat is fun. From all the amazing filters that allow you to look like a “dog”, to all the stories that you can share with your friends, there is no denying the fact that Snapchat is a lot of fun.
If I remember correctly it was Snapchat basically started this trend where you can share stories with your friends. As a matter of fact, it became so famous that Tech Giants Facebook implemented it on their Social Media apps Facebook and Instagram and then later brought it even to their messaging app Whatsapp.
Another great thing about Snapchat is that when you share a picture with your friends “Snap”, your friends can view it a maximum of two times before it completely disappears. But what if someone takes a screenshot of your picture.
In that case, Snachat informs you that the other person has taken a screenshot of your photo. This is a pretty impressive feature of Snapchat that I am personally a big fan of as it allows a user to have a fair idea of what happens to any of their pictures once it is sent.
Snapchatting on phone is great no doubt but what if you could do all the same stuff on your PC. Yes, you can install Snapchat right on your PC by following a few simple steps with a program called BlueStacks.
If you have no idea what BlueStacks is or what it does don’t sweat it. BlueStack is basically an app that lets you download all android games and applications right on your PC.

Congratulations. You have now installed Snapchat on your PC. Now open up Snapchat and use your Snapchat ID to Log In or Sign up to create a new one.
Note that you will require a Camera in your computer to have the app function properly. However, you when prompted with error messages just click on “Cancel” multiple times to get rid of them.
Without a camera, you can unfortunately not click a picture or use any of the filters but you can view all the snaps that your friends send you and you can also view their stories.
In case you do have a camera on your PC you can simply click on the button like you would do on your smartphone to take a picture. Recording a video is also quite simple, instead of clicking on the button hold it until you are done recording the video and leave it once you are done.
